“She has been a wonderful and gracious volunteer, and the staff at the Armstrong are pleased, proud, and fortunate to have Zeny Reyes represent the James Armstrong Theatre tonight.”

The words used to describe Zeny, the night she was awarded Volunteer of the Year.

Zeny Reyes has been volunteering at the Armstrong Theatre since 2001, after she retired in 2000. Zeny was born in the Philippines and came to the US as a foreign exchange student at Boston University, were she met her husband. They relocated to Southern California after they then married and had three sons. She then worked for Torrance Memorial Hospital in the clinical laboratory for 30 years. We are glad she is our very own committed, wonderful and gracious volunteer!
