When asked to describe Robert in three words the Torrance Public Library staff said, “Motivated, consistent and knowledgeable!”

Robert has been consistently volunteering several hours a day Monday-Thursday as a Homework Helper at the Walteria Library helping students with their school work. He is fully committed to the program, staying as long as there are children who need his help. Even when the library closed for renovation, instead of ending his service, he just moved to a different library, and the students followed. He helps students mostly with science, math, spelling, and writing assignments. He also actively volunteers at he Huntington Library, the J.Paul Getty Museum and the Los Angeles Zoo. We are truly blessed to have such a hardworking volunteer!
